This model is stitches on two different pieces of 32 count linen from Picture This Plus that are layered together to add interest and give a beautiful view of Paris through the telescope lens. The sky is worked on Arctic line and the background fabric is Fog. Instructions for layering are enclosed in the chart. Alternatively, the sky could be filled in with blue cross stitching.

In November of 1783 the first hot air balloon was launched into the sky above Paris! It was the first time humans successfully took flight!
